One of our favorite traditions of the year- welcoming back the class of 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ Norton one last time before they graduate & head off to their next adventure! Once a knight, always a knight! #classof2024#allensid#allenhighschool
🌘TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE DAY🌒 What an amazing day with our Norton Knights! We created a core memory together seeing the moon past the sun in totality! Special shoutout to Mrs. Wheeler and Mrs. Lamb for guiding us through the viewing today! #solareclipse#totaleclipse2024#allenisd
We’re ready for a great first week back with our Norton Knights! Mrs. Cherry shared the marvelous March calendar in her last newsletter- here are the theme days this week!
✨Loved getting to honor and celebrate these two wonderful educators today! They bring so much joy, love for learning, and do MORE for our school community! Norton is a special place because of the magic they bring with them each and every day! ✨
Spent the afternoon with fellow administrators doing collective impact walks around Norton! It was great to get share the fantastic things our staff is doing, students are learning, and how they align with our district goals! #allenisd
Norton Elementary School recently celebrated its World Culture Day with a student and parent parade around the campus and then special cultural performances in the gym. Activities wrap up in the evening with family booths, food, dances, live performances, and more!
When you’ve worked together long enough, you begin accidentally dressing alike 🤷🏻♀️ Excuse the tired faces; it was a 12 hour day but we had fun every minute!
Our crew was all smiles this morning at carpool! 😊
Huge shoutout to Cole & Rowdy who showed up at Norton bright & early to help our admin team work outside so the rest of our staff could stay warm in the building. They exemplify the Allen Way- one town, one team! 💙
We had a new principal and assistant principal for the day yesterday! They did a fantastic job running our school, making and giving gifts to our staff, and getting their computer work done!
Today our Norton 4th & 5th grade choir sang at a local retirement home. There were smiles, hugs, and tears; it was a beautiful experience for everyone involved. I sure do love the connections between our schools & the Allen community! ❤️
