A five-minute activity that develops community while providing insight into studentsβ lives and mindsets. (Why not give it a try?) https://t.co/qq3f5SjFmy
@mburnsmath My elementary math methods professor showed us this and had us create our own and put them into use. At the age of 25, I can say that I have a better visual understanding of fractions. I wish this taught this way when I was in school.
P.s my professor is a major fan of yours!
Studies in social-emotional learning show that the most successful "kindness strategies" are short and focused, rooted in relationships, carried out repeatedly, and related to actual events in school @LindaFlanagan2 https://t.co/1tnyRruVv6 #edchat#SEL#parents
@LWMEdProf I will advocate for #EdTech by providing technological resources to other teachers, colleagues and anyone who is looking to improve their classroom. I find that many teachers do not have the proper resources and are constantly looking for new tech ways to improve. #ITIf18
It's important to show students new and improved ways of learning! There are a lot of applications out there that can reach students of all ages. #EdTeach
@LWMEdProf#ITIf18 I will advocate for #EdTech in my own classroom by making sure to continually try new apps and websites in the classroom to enhance student learning! There is so much out there, I want to be able to deepen student learning by using the best tech!
@MrsSandrzyk Great to know! I was actually going to write about this. I think it is very cool that students can use laptops while taking ownership for their work. It's different than pencil and paper, so I think it that students would be more apt to getting engaged.
