@Positivteacha I do think it’s bad for men and women, though in both cases it is fear of male violence. Statistics suggest there are higher rates of violence against women and as a generalisation women are very aware men are physically bigger and stronger = greater risk

@GeographyStrong Year 8 period 5 on a Friday. Can not control them. Half the class good as gold and feel for them. Half the class won’t be quiet and can never tell who it is talking, singing, messing about.

Yesterday at the end of a long week I witnessed a moment between a big brother and his little brother (they missed the bus). I went home with a full heart and smiling. Still exhausted, but reminded how lovely young people are and why I we do this job ❤️

@MrP33333 Just started my 6th year teaching and I’d say this one. You learn to care less about perfect lessons and go with ‘good enough’ to preserve your energy and sanity. Not being paid = prioritise yourself, family and friends
