Last week, we listened to YouTube videos of people reading children's books and jotted down what the readers did well. Today, we practiced those skills by reading in front of the whole class and giving each other "glows" of what they did well. 🥰

This week in Essentials ELA, we used clue words from throughout the story to figure out what the term "adaptive sports" means!

In Essentials ELA, we started class by brainstorming words, phrases, people, images, etc that come to mind when we hear these two vocab words/phrases. I was so impressed with how much the class already knew about Black History Month!
