She Lost a Leg To A Landmine, Not Her Will to Walk. 🐘❤️

Mosha, an Asian elephant living in Thailand is world famous for being the first elephant to successfully receive and wear a leg prosthesis. The video shows Mosha standing on her feet using the orthopedic device attached to her left front leg. The structure of the prosthesis includes a molded base cushioned with brown leather straps, connected to a vertical metal frame with a rubber circular base to simulate the support of a real leg.

Details about Mosha's story : The accident : When she was only seven months old, Mosha stepped on a landmine in the border region of Thailand, resulting in the loss of part of her left front leg.

The treatment : She was rescued and taken to the hospital of the NGO Friends of the Asian Elephant (FAE) in Lampang, Thailand.

The growth challenge : As elephants continue to grow and gain weight over the years, the extra weight on the remaining three legs began to twist her spine and damage the other joints.

The solution : A team led by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Therdchai Jivacate developed custom-made prostheses for her. Since then, as Mosha grows and gains weight, new larger and more durable prostheses need to be moulded and manufactured periodically to support her current weight of several tons.

Lady Shri Ram College cancelled regular classes for women and shifted them to online mode following the r@pe of a minor girl at a park nearby. IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly r@ped by three men at Aastha Kunj Park near Kalkaji Mandir.

LSR, located around 2 km away, moved classes online citing concerns around student safety.

And once again, when women are unsafe in public spaces, the solution seems to be making their worlds smaller.

Keep women indoors.
Move classes online.
Avoid certain places.
Come home before it gets dark.
Be more careful.

But what happens to the people who actually make these spaces unsafe ?

Why are women asked to change their lives and restrict themselves because men choose to commit violence ?
