When I was at @BYU, I jumped at the opportunity to student teach in Texas! I had never heard of @AldineISD, but it I sounded like an adventure.

Despite being welcomed to the city by #hurricaneharvey, I fell in love with #houston and Aldine! 1/2

Today, we are celebrating 90 years in Aldine with a decades dress up day!

I love working in such a fun district!

I am so glad that I agreed to travel halfway across the country to student teach all of those years ago!

Today at work, we had a training session on SEL skills for teachers.

They asked us to draw portraits of our coworkers, but the catch was that we had to draw with a paper plate covering the paper! I love the way it came out! 😍
