Looking forward to the talk this evening (Thurs) on Worcester Jews - a sadly neglected aspect of local history. All welcome - The Undercroft, Worcester cathedral
The cut in the aid budget - made worse by no set date for restoration - is shameful and wrong. It’s contrary to numerous Government promises and its manifesto.
I join others in urging MPs to reject it for the good of the poorest, and the UK’s own reputation and interest.
Spent some time last week talking with @EbooPatel about how what he calls "Interfaith America" is a reality on the ground. Kamala Harris - who was raised Baptist, has a Hindu mom and a Jewish husband, brings that home

I should have explained: the battery has (nearly) expired on my smoke alarm. Manual says "Dispose of it". "You can't put it in household rubbish, you must take it to local council dump". During lockdown??? In 6 months time? After we've all gone mad!!!
Just taken a hammer to my smoke alarm... The only way to stop it going off. Never ever ever buy one with an unreplaceable battery! (The hammer worked - Neighbours, there will now be peace!)
A bit late in the day: Advice please on wearing a mask and spectacles without fogging up. Best advice so far: Bring upper teeth forward over bottom lip. It does work, but...
So powerful. @raushenbush highlights how John Lewis was an Interfaith Leader. His Christian faith gave him roots, his study of other traditions gave him wings. https://t.co/es63gQZCWD #RIPJohnLewis
Played the organ, an organ that Handel just might have played (but probably didn't!) for a full church. Brilliant! And a very different Christmas. (Great Witley in case you're wondering - Britain's finest baroque church... )
25 years ago today I was ordained priest... Quite a lot's happened since! And, of the other 23 or so in Bury St Edmunds that day, some have died, some have retired, some very much active still. I shall celebrate by going to Communion AND having a walk by the sea
Haven't tweeted for a while... Moving house is interesting. 4 days of utter bliss: no landline, no mobile, no internet. But glad to be back in touch with the world after all. It used to be like this every time we went out...
