The BEST 3rd grade Ss created rectangles with given areas. They used what they know about area and structure of rectangles to decide on side lengths and proved their rectangle matched the given area.

Our class wrapped up our social studies unit by creating a business plan for a region in Maryland. They then pitched their idea to “investors”. They all did so well and should be proud of their hard work!

Their new knowledge allowed them to expertly engage in a class discussion of push & pull immigration factors!
