Tough to see Coach Willard leave. He did a great job and I wish him the best! With that being said. I’m available and would love the challenge. Go Terps!!!
Every MLB Draft prospect dreams of hearing his name called. @Cox__Baseball product Fenwick Trimble had a little bit of a different experience in that department, thanks to a technological glitch of sorts.

Fenwick Trimble was one of the most outstanding players from the Raleigh regional this year. I loved every aspect of his game. He led his team in almost every offensive category. His parents named him after Fenwick Island in Delaware. His brother is named South.
The Miami Marlins today selected center fielder Fenwick Trimble out of James Madison University (Harrisonburg, Va.) with the 122nd overall selection in the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
Trimble, 21, finished his junior season with a .369 AVG (90x244), 21 doubles, one triple, 14 home runs, 65 RBI, 29 walks, and 16 stolen bases in 61 games. The six-foot-three-inch, right-handed batter last season was named Second-Team All-American by NCBWA, All-ECAC Team, and First-Team All-Sun Belt after leading his team in hits, doubles, AVG, RBI, runs (71), total bases (155), on-base percentage (.452), and OPS (1.088). His 90 hits last season were the most in school history since Jake Lowery in 2011 and his 65 RBI were the most since Chad Carroll in 2013.
The Virginia Beach, Va. native compiled a .332 AVG (222x668), 55 doubles, three triples, 34 homers, and 156 RBI in 169 games with the Dukes from 2022-24.
Fenny 2️⃣-Bags was at it again this season!
Fenwick Trimble recorded a second 20-double season in the spring to become the third player in program history with multiple 20-double seasons.
