Here’s the clue. There is no plan! If we just say trust the draft you get to wonder for 5 years. No urgency to capitalize on the moment. Say what you will about salary cap and signing players but Hutch and Crosby on the edges is video game illegal. Less blitzing. Less pressure on corners. Make the deal. Deal with the future later. Arguably neither is MSU however the hype around McCarthy has implied for 2 years that he was the next Brady! Point is that happens once every 25 years (Brady type). A 10 year+ productive NFL career as a QB (Cousins, Hoyer, Stanton) is equally impressive as it relates to the program they came from.
