Stephan El Shaarawy has said goodbye to Roma after almost a DECADE with the club. ❤️💛
The 33-year-old had already announced he would leave when his contract expired, bringing an end to two spells in Rome stretching back to 2016.
And in his FINAL appearance, he got the perfect ending.
Deep into stoppage time against Verona, El Shaarawy scored to seal a 2-0 win and confirm Roma’s return to the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE after seven years away.
Up in the stands, his brother Manuel completely broke down in tears watching it happen.
After 346 appearances, 65 goals and a European trophy with Roma, El Shaarawy walked away having delivered one final unforgettable moment.
What a way to say goodbye. ❤️💛
