Was so saddened to read of Robert Duvall's death at age 95. While none of us is immortal, films and TV series such as Lonesome Dove, Open Range and Broken Trail will last forever. RIP Mr. Duvall.

I presume that flags in the town of Tombstone, Ariz., are flying at half staff today following the death of actor Val Kilmer. The 1993 movie "Tombstone" revitalized the southern Arizona town and Kilmer's performance as Doc Holliday was one of the reasons why. Rest in peace, Val.
