We hired a lifeguard for our pool parties even though parents were there eating and drinking.

I thought it was a waste of money until she jumped in and saved a girl from drowning. The mom said the girl wasn’t a good swimmer after being rescued. WTF, why weren’t you effing watching her then?!

I saw the lifeguard jump and there was so much going on in the pool I didn’t even understand what she was doing until she pulled the girl out that was a couple inches under the water.
