The Chases have landed in Kuwait! Our first ten days have been a whirlwind, but so incredibly positive. We have been showered with kindness and support and feel so incredibly welcomed. It’s been a phenomenal start!!

After 26 years with @RCSD_No81 we are off on a new adventure! I am so grateful for my career and work family here and we are so excited to join the American School of Kuwait. We leave with full hearts as Nic and I start new roles as Principal and instructional coach.
@lizbarratt@DrRLofthouse I agree entirely. @jimknight99 describes the partnership principles that serve as the foundation for this work. When applied with critical self reflection and self awareness the results are magical.
@DrRLofthouse Couldn’t agree more. So many people in education have little to no coach training and assume that the work they are doing is coaching. Well intentioned but hugely under informed in my opinion.
Staff Appreciation notes left for teachers throughout the day. Thank you to all the staff #stpeterrcsd and all staff @RCSD_No81 - you are amazing! #rcsd_no81
Reading Brene Brown’s Atlas of the Heart. My favourite quote so far - Adam Grant “intelligence is traditionally viewed as the ability to think and learn. Yet in a turbulent world, there’s another set of cognitive skills that might matter more: the ability to rethink and unlearn”.
