The Splatoon 3 x Splatoon Raiders Collaboration Splatfest is a wrap, and with a 365p score Team Power has secured the win!
Thanks as always to everyone that got in on the fun, and be sure to claim your super sea snails in the plaza.
The Splatoon Raiders Collaboration Splatfest kicks off later today at 5pm PT in #Splatoon3!
Are you sprinting with Team Speed, playing with Team Power, or getting tricky with Team Tactics?
You can also get outfits by scanning amiibo figures. The Shiver, Frye, and Big Man figures launching on the same day as Splatoon Raiders each have matching outfits you can obtain. You can also tap other Splatoon series amiibo figures to get Bite Waders.
Even on a deserted island with no clothing stores, the Mechanic makes sure not to neglect fashion. Customize your look with outfits you earn by progressing in the story and clearing certain objectives. #SplatoonRaiders
If you're adventuring on your own, you can still get temporary help from someone by requesting help online. This feature will be unavailable for a while after you clear a raid with it, so call for help with care! You can also volunteer to help other players by selecting Go Help.
#SplatoonRaiders is mainly a single-player adventure, but up to four players can also team up online or via local wireless. Create a room for your friends, secure it with a password if you like, and progress the story together!
The Fish Stick is a Boss Salmonid made up of a tall pillar and a platoon of eight Smallfry. You can climb the pillar to defeat all of the Smallfry, but the Fish Sticks of the Spirhalite Islands can also be brought down to earth by attacking the propellers at the bottom.
The Smoker is a Boss Salmonid that creates flavor-enhancing clouds of smoke that harden the scales of nearby Salmonids. We advise you to prioritize dealing with them as soon as you can.
The Steelhead is a Boss Salmonid that inflates a bomb on its head and throws it at you. It's vulnerable while the bomb itself is being inflated. Though covered in hard scales, it seems the Steelheads of the Spirhalite Islands do take minor damage from body shots. #SplatoonRaiders
The Hi-Fiver is a gadget for the Tactical Tank. It shoots five lines of ink in a radial pattern which also bounce off terrain. These lines remain wherever the ink passed and inflict damage on any Salmonids that touch them. Good use of the terrain will reward you with many hits!
The Splatellites are a gadget for the Power Tank. They spin ink around you in a protective circle which hits both the ground and nearby Salmonids. #SplatoonRaiders
The Dash Bomb is a gadget for the Speed Tank. It explodes immediately when used, and the force propels you quickly in a direction of your choosing. You can use it concurrently with your weapon to run circles around Salmonids while shooting ink at them.
The Flipper-Flopper is a Boss Salmonid that shoots a ring to ink the ground and then dives into that ring to attack. Ink the ground before it lands and its dive will fail, leaving it vulnerable. #SplatoonRaiders
The Salivator soars on large wings and creates whirlwinds to attack. Break the bags at the center of these whirlwinds and you'll create an updraft that you can ride high into the air.
We've had to adjust our profile on the Big Shot Boss Salmonid—it now hops to get around while slamming cannonballs down to produce shockwaves. If you defeat them in a way that causes them to drop those cannonballs, the shockwaves will affect Salmonids instead of you!
The music you'll hear in the underground of the Spirhalite Islands comes from a Salmonid group called DHA. Their setup is similar to ω-3, using instruments that fit the natural environment to boost morale. Perhaps the cello & timpani resonate with the Salmonid nervous system?
