@elliebgomersall @broughy @glasgowgreens I’m keen for legislation to be passed that prevents someone from double hatting as an MP/MLA/MSP/Cllr/MS/HoL. They can stand for election to another role but as soon as they are elected they lose their other post, none of this giving them the option of resigning business.

@EdiDisgraces Yeah, I can see the argument that not everyone will approve of the stickering. Although in fairness in Scotland its common for communities, groups and individual citizens to campaign against authorised activities. I’ve no strong views for or against the stickering.

Spotted some stickers on key boxes along buccleuch street today. A very small protest, unlikely to contribute to a reduction in STLs in #Edinburgh or #Scotland but always positive to see some really local community action.

@EdiDisgraces A good point. No idea if the stickers photographed or seen by me are on key boxes of STLs or clients of social care workers. But the message seems clear.

@zlatogoldie Good point! Maybe the people applying the stickers are doing so to any key boxes they see, or maybe they are targeting key boxes they know are linked to STLs. Impossible to know. The message on them is clearly anti STL but offers no hint to those behind it, so we cant ask them.
