@DividendBreeder The issue for me is the instability of property taxes. If they stay stable during your ownership of the home it wouldn’t be an issue. However, you are taxed on an unrealized gain. Mine has tripled in 10 years.

@NordicKari I don’t have an issue paying property tax , but I think it should be fixed based on what it was when you purchased your home. I had to hire a laws to fight my property tax increase because it keeps going up. It has almost tripled in the ten years I have owned my house.

@JamesMac_Fit Our daughter has to read for 30mins each day before she is allowed any electronics. She also gets to stay up and read for 30mins at the end of each day. This seems to work out well for us. Often she gets so into reading the books she loses track of time.
