I ran a workshop titled “Building Your First AI Agent with Genkit Dart” and open sourced the project.
You build an agent from scratch: tools, agentic loop, structured output, and tests.

Over a year ago, everyone on my timeline was a Web 3 developer.
Now, they're all AI engineers. In six months to a year, they'll be something else.
I've stopped chasing trends. Here's what I do instead.
I realized there wasn't a single place that walked through how the different pieces of Shelf actually fit together. So I decided to build it.
A handbook for Server-side Dart that takes you from zero to a real, working API; built step-by-step.

Woke up to some unexpected news.
I've been nominated for the AfBC Technology & Innovation Excellence Award for my work with Web3 Afrika by @AfricanBChamber.
@web3afrika started as a small idea: helping African developers get into blockchain. Now it's a community of thousands of developers across the continent.
The awards ceremony is in London on May 29th.
If you've been part of this journey, attended a workshop, joined a session, or just followed along, thank you. This nomination is yours, too.
Voting/nominations close Feb 28th. If you'd like to support, you can nominate here: https://t.co/SW3yf2ZSmL
Grateful for this one.
🚀 I got tired of switching between my IDE and Firebase Console just to put data in Firebase Remote Config.
So I built a vsCode extension with @antigravity + @GeminiApp that lets you push data to Firebase Remote Config directly from your IDE.😅😅

I'm exploring adding Agent skills to the Server-Side Dart ecosystem. 🎯
The goal: Make it easier to deploy to @dart_globe, debug builds, and work with frameworks like Shelf, Dart Frog, and Jaspr using AI assistance.
Would this fit your workflow? Let me know!
Making the leap from Flutter mobile dev to full-stack!
Currently working on a backend project using Dart and it's incredible how much of my Flutter knowledge transfers directly to server-side development.
If you could magically switch your current backend to Dart today with zero friction, would you switch your backend to Dart immediately, or stick with Node/Go/Python, Firebase/SupaBase?
I had a productive session with @developerjamiu today. He helped me troubleshoot my dart backend issue and also noticed I was handling my validations manually which he referred me to the docs I where I found out “luthor” package handles validation more efficiently.
