[SHARE THIS TO WORLD] with what I saw today at the refugee camp.
A small old tent shared by five children and many elders—forced to seek shelter in order to survive an attack from Thailand. Refugees are living in fear, waking each day with a single hope: peace, so they may return home.
Stories like this are ignored by global media, dismissed because we come from a smaller country with nothing to offer them in return. We’ve been left out of the truth.
We seek peace. A country that values peace, one that has endured the sorrow and pain of the past, will never fire the first shot.
So start sharing some truths and stop supporting lies that have been systematically fabricated by Thailand to not only but us but also brainwash their people.

We never ask for conflict, but we always tried our best to stay in peace.
Right now we need to stand up to defense our homeland and nation.
We can’t stand and see Thailand painting us like that, we have voices so we also can shout them up.

Thai troops capture 20 Cambodian soldiers as hostages after the ceasefire takes effect; two are possibly killed.
A senior Cambodian military commander revealed to military attachés and diplomats that Thai troops had captured 20 Cambodian soldiers as hostages following the official enforcement of a ceasefire.
Brigadier General Chan Sopheaktra, Commander of the Preah Vihear Operational Area, made the statement while accompanying military attachés and diplomats from 13 countries on a field visit to observe the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand along the border area on Wednesday, July 30.
The same senior officer confirmed that at 5:18 a.m. on July 29, Thai forces used an armored vehicle and about 30 infantry troops to open fire with two rounds at Cambodian positions in Bos Bov Chom, despite the Cambodian side not returning fire, in strict compliance with orders from Cambodian commanders. Cambodian forces then withdrew into trenches for safety.
At that point, Thai forces launched a further attack and seized a Cambodian trench approximately 40 meters inside Cambodian territory. They then used a deceptive tactic—waving hands and calling Cambodian troops to approach for negotiations.
Brig. Gen. Chan Sopheaktra added that around six Cambodian soldiers approached the Thai troops, shook hands, and took group photos together as a gesture of goodwill. However, during the photo session, hidden Thai soldiers suddenly emerged, raised their weapons, and captured nearly 20 Cambodian soldiers.
He stated that one Cambodian soldier managed to escape, but two are believed to have been shot and possibly killed. As of the afternoon of July 30, 2025, the Thai military had not yet released the captured Cambodian troops.
@TTNEnglish Even in peace, we suffer. Thai media and celebrities turn our pain into lies. How many more tears must Cambodia shed before we’re seen as human too?
Thai military breached ceasefire twice on July 29, said Phat Vibolsopheak, director of International Relations Department of Defense Ministry during a tour at An Ses checkpoint in Preah Vihear on July 30.

Thailand violated the ceasefire by arresting 20 Cambodian soldiers (and shooting two to the ground, still unknown whether they were alive or dead) under the pretext of asking to shake hands and take a picture with them.

Why did Cambodia start a war?
Cambodia is a small and developing country. We don’t have the powerful weapons like Thailand.
