Chris: In an effort to bring common sense to the matter, I break the global warming issue into three broad questions: 1) Is the GMST (Global Mean Surface Temperature) increasing? 2) Is the increase due to human activity or naturally occurring changes (like those we’ve seen throughout history)? And 3) What level of confidence can we have in predictions about what the climate will be like 20, 50, or even 75 years into the future?
Does this make sense as an analytical framework? If so, how can one assert that anything about the matter is scientifically verifiable, aside from perhaps the question of whether the GMST has increased since 1850?
