IC Engines:
- Vector had apparently ventured into IC years ago & development has resumed now. 2 cylinder & 4 cylinder two stroke boxer engines developed (see GIF), but what's going to be produced from 2026-end is a different larger 4 cylinder two stroke boxer engine. 8 - 10 hr endurance, 500km range mentioned. Comparing their engine with competing 4 stroke engine. Used motorbike engines for a sorta reverse engineering as well(?).
BLDC motors
- Everything except magnets are India sourced. Magnets were China, now Japan - Taiwan. IDDM Nb-Fe-B magnets via ARCI soon. Many of the machines to manufacture thr motors are also in-house. So is Trustbench testbench software. A new motor has to fly for 100 hrs without a crash.
Other products:
- CFRP propellers, ESC, power distribution et al
- Tejas brake parachute actuator
- Inrunner motor for a DRDO antenna positioning system

Thoughts:
- Wonder what capacity the 4 cylinder will be. 60, 170 & 210 cc were stated in the PR.
- Their mech design team looked sufficiently large eso considering 2 shifts
- Hope Vector Technics will also look at BLDC motors for underwater applns (AUV, small torpedoes et al) as well as associated propulsion. NSTL should need all that.
