What You Need to Know About Climate Finance at the Africa Climate Summit (ACS2)
The Second Africa Climate Summit aims to redefine Africa’s aspirations for a climate-resilient and prosperous future.
The Summit will focus on the theme, ‘Accelerating Global Climate Solutions: Financing for Africa’s Resilient and Green Development’.
The summit has set aside day 3 to discuss climate finance. The third day will focus on the theme, ‘Climate Finance and African-led Solutions, Shifting from Aid to Investment in Local Innovation’.
Sessions will discuss promoting financial mechanisms that empower African countries to tackle climate challenges through community-driven initiatives.
Participants will discuss African-led climate funds and fintech innovations and showcase Indigenous and grassroots climate solutions.
