Calling all 2020 high school senior baseball players! Take a gap year with PGS Baseball. College level program for high school seniors that want an extra year to train and compete in the Arizona desert. D1 level coaches and former MLB player.
@3kidsjustme@SGVNSports @James_Escarcega It’s more of a prep program, and the players are encouraged to attend the local JCs for units. This specific program is baseball only, however.
@ChemicalAT @stevesingiser I was at the barber shop, and every dude in there said, “Wow! Baseball players are down with it, too? Awesome.” Also, it was the first time a non-playoff game was ever on in the barbershop.
@SGVNSports Kids will only go to school 2x a week, and only for half of the day. The rest of the time will be spent learning remotely. Kids will be divided into 2 groups, A & B. ”A” kids attend school Tuesday & Wednesday, & “B” kids attend Thursday &Friday. Mondays are remote for all kids.
@SGVNSports PUSD is under LACOE’s umbrella, like all schools in LA county. But looking at how high schools will function next year in PUSD, the sentiment of quite a few folks is that it’ll be mighty difficult to manage extracurriculars, especially sports.
