When my sister died. She had a business page because she was a fashion designer, and she mostly modelled her own clothes. Before we even announced her death, we made sure every single picture and video of her was taken down from the internet.

I got calls from different people asking me for her pictures because they searched through her social media pages and found absolutely nothing.

This is exactly what should have been done for Hadiza before her death was announced. Because people are genuinely sick in the head. Why are you downloading and reposting her TikTok videos everywhere despite knowing she’s dead? What exactly do you gain from circulating a dead woman’s videos for content and engagement?

Wallahi, some of you have no boundaries and no fear of Allah. Let the dead rest. Pray for her and move on. Her death is not your content.
