Today we are incredibly grateful for the courage and quick action by pilot Cpt. Smit Machchhar who was stabbed by his copilot on FZ1073, yet still managed to open the cockpit door and call for help before collapsing. His heroism in the moment of crisis saved over 170 lives today.

Images of flight #FZ1073 at Tabuk Airport appear to show that part of the aircraft’s rudder is missing or damaged.
Earlier in the flight, Flightradar24 data recorded an extreme descent rate of approximately -30,000 ft/min.
🚨 BREAKING: A pilot aboard Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv attacked the other pilot and attempted to seize control of the aircraft in terror attack.
The plane, carrying 174 Israeli passengers, plunged 14,000 feet before the situation was brought under control and the aircraft was diverted to Saudi Arabia.
