I have a connection to Iran via a friend whose family was once contained an ambassador. He was in Iran when I last texted him. I hope he is okay. I haven't been able to txt him as his strict warning was not to text him as something happened (?). The day before he was supposed to come back to CT war broke out and the airport shut down.

that's part of why I burned my degree. there's no reason for what happened yesterday. this is not what I imagined and since I don't have the ability to end it in a positive and constructive way I no longer feel confident I can be a positive influence anymore.

submit my resignation from my volunteer board member position. If I can't get the youth the help they need then there is no point in me being a board member. I can't even help myself bc of what happened 2.5 years ago.
