Fish & chips with a beer in London at £36 (¥7,000) is causing shrieks online. London is certainly expensive but that seems an outlier. A beer and that plate would usually be more like £20-26 (¥4-5,000 yen). Malins in Tokyo charges ¥2-2,500 and ¥800 for an Asahi.
