I now understand that it's okay to move from one city to another to potentially explore opportunities.
In Lusaka, despite it being the capital and place where I grew up in, I was financially stuck. Moved to Solwezi, got dragged on Twitter, and lost contracts. Guess what? I trippled my income, invested in things I didn't even know were businesses people do. Got back into ministry and to top it all, starting to build on my piece of land that had been dormant for years.
I envy Chingola with everything in me. This place is clean, even muma Compounds women wake up & sweep the roads. You just move a few inches, you find tarmacs everywhere, & you can walk with a well polished shoe without worrying about them getting dirty.
I want to stay here 😩
Ramaposa has shown the world what true diplomacy looks like. From the accusations by Trump right in his face, holding a straight face and addressing all the allegations without losing it emotionally. That's what a true leader does. We as a country have a lot of learning to do.
There is a country where a president made campaign promises. After he failed to fulfill his campaign promises, he noticed people took to social media to complain about everything and remind him of his promises. Do you know what he did, he signed a cyber bill that made it illegal to complain on the internet about the failures of his government. This man was really popular with the people, but now, his popularity has gone down, even in places where he was loved. Now, elections are around the corner, he might lose his job.
I just remembered how Sylvia Masebo was then minister of health. She went around in hospitals & would notice that there was no medicine despite papers showing that medicine had just arrived. A few months later, Sylvia Masebo was removed from the ministry of health, coincidence?
The Bemba jokes are flying around and everyone seems to be having a good laugh at them. Even Bembas are laughing. But wait for the time a certain tribe is going to be made fun of, you will know why we have cyber lawyers and everything will be called tribalism.
