I wish somebody would’ve taught me this before I started reading my Bible.
If you want to know who Jesus is, read the book of John.
If you want to go deeper into your identity in Christ, read the book of Ephesians.
If you want to learn how to live in holiness in a GODLESS culture… read the book of 1 Corinthians.
If you want to have wisdom for life, read the book of Proverbs.
If you want to know the origin of the universe and everything that exists, and why the world is broken today, read the book of Genesis.
If you want to understand the Gospel and learn what you should believe as a Christian, read the book of Romans.
If you want to understand why life without God has no meaning (even if you achieve success, status, money, and pleasure…) read Ecclesiastes.
If you want to learn how to find joy in the midst of your trial and suffering, read Philippians.
If you want to hear how the church was born and what the first Christians did through the power of the Holy Spirit, read the book of Acts.
If you want to learn how to put your faith into practice, read the book of James.
If you want to learn how to pray with honesty, even in the midst of lament, read the book of Psalms.
If you want to see a preview of what will happen in the future and remind yourself that, in the end, Christ wins every battle, read the book of Revelation.
St Jerome was right when he said: “The Scriptures are shallow enough for a babe to come and drink without fear of drowning…. and deep enough for a theologian to swim in without ever touching the bottom"
You CANNOT read the Bible and not have it change your life.
Why do some churches want new members to join a department immediately?
What happened to grooming people first and allowing them to understand the church, grow spiritually, discover their gifts, and then choose a department when they are ready?
Not every new believer needs to be assigned a role immediately. Sometimes, people need time to learn, grow, heal, understand the Word, and build their relationship with God before taking on responsibilities.
Let people grow before giving them a department. 🙏🏽
We have dealt with this before, unfortunately, Illiteracy runs in the line.
1+1+1 = 1 is what you intended to make fun of, but it is mathematically and philosophically possible for 1+1+1 =1.
Asides Christian Theology, in Philosophy, linguistics and mathematic, three singular items can constitute or equal one compound item.
Examples are
1. A shirt, a jacket and a trouser forming one suit in mereology.
2. A spoon, a fork and a knife forming one cutlery in set theory.
3. In monkey post football, you can have 3 individual players form one team.
The point is it is mathematically and philosophically possible and not illogical.
You won't read this to the end, if you do, you won't ask the next question you'll ask because you don't understand what I am pointing at.
3.
@FabrizioRomano “I made a mistake by putting someone of the stature of Pelé or Maradona on to warm up and then not putting him in the game. If it were today I would not do it”
Such an arrogant clown
That MC Lively guy and others bashing Jerry Eze are clowns
Nigeria will be better with 100 more Jerry Ezes
But MC Lively should ask himself, will Nigeria feel anything with 1 million of him?
That's all he needs to know and ask himself
If you no get talk, blow whistle
Male depression is not female depression.
“Male depression is nearly always a result of learned helplessness, but health providers treat it like female depression and try to make men feel loved instead of powerful.” — @AdamLaneSmith
