@JeremyGinges I have been utterly dumbfounded seeing people who I really thought would know better getting sucked into the weird anti-woke mindset and providing succour for genuine threats to freedom of expression and more. Colour me baffled.
@JeremyGinges Me too. I won't hold my breath though. I couldn't detect any antisemitism - of the explicit kind or of the dog-whistle variety. To see people I once respected, people who are supposed to understand tribal human psychology, acting in such a tribal way is profoundly disillusioning.
@RawCharging FYI cars charging at the charing station in Chatsworth Square, Brighton, frequently get fines issued by @OneParking - yet there are no signs saying there are any restrictions on using the charging station. What's up with that?! The fines seem totally bogus.
“If I say to John that Jeff is a terrible person and should die, that’s free speech; if I say to John that Jeff is a terrible person and we should conspire to murder him, that’s criminal intent. Pretty simple.” https://t.co/E6ZlIhl7XF
Musk is a pitiable character- he unwittingly displays his deep psychological damage to millions on a daily basis - but it's hard to feel genuine pity for the world's most influential spreader of conspiratorial right-wing/racist/facist bullshit
"Elon Musk’s ownership of Twitter is forcing us to come to terms with a new reality: a social media platform where the person running it is himself spreading the misinformation." That's if it lasts long enough for us to take that reality in. https://t.co/bfZCxJqYDo
Reminds me of the time me (left) and friend met DG backstage about five minutes before he took to the stage with Them Crooked Vultures at Brixton O2 (Arctic Monkeys played after). Very cool dude.
