he’s humble, he’s patient, he never raises his voice, his tone carries a softness that embraces you. he’s lee heeseung, the (unofficial) main vocalist and ace of enhypen. he’s known for his power vocals, his musical ambition and most importantly, his love for engenes.
i just hope heeseung is mentally okay right now. if this situation is weighing heavily on me, i can’t even imagine how much heavier it must feel for him... he really needs all the support so i hope engenes don’t stop showing up for him.
i really love you lee heeseung. whatever you do, you can count on me to be always be here rooting for you.
many artists under hybe are able to release solo albums while still remaining part of their groups, yet in Heeseung’s case it had to lead to him parting ways with enhypen. what makes it even more surprising is that Heeseung himself said, “I want to continue being one person who cheers for ENHYPEN more than anyone else,” and that he made a big decision to follow the direction the company suggested.
If his own words show how much he still cares about the group, then why did pursuing his music have to come to this? was it really that hard for him to release his solo music while still being part of enhypen? It’s honestly difficult to understand why it had to lead to such a drastic change… :(
and now that BELIFT LAB themselves have said that Heeseung will continue releasing his solo work under the company, I truly hope they will treat him with the respect, fairness, and proper support he deserves as an artist. I'm begging you @BELIFTLAB
