it's a heartbreaking testimony. I feel truly sorry for you @PupperDavey. addiction is real and terrible. I can relate a lot to what you shared here and I'm sure many others will (hence me replying publicly for visibility). but please don't take responsibility for others' toxicity and destructive actions. the consequences are real and it may have not happened if it wasn't for your kinks , but 1/ you didn't get to choose them, 2/ you were not the one to directly hurt your closed ones. you, as many of the boys I met over here including me, clearly need help. you need help. and I'm sorry that some horrible people saw that and chose to abuse you rather than provide you with a safe space for you to feel seen, heard, and supported. my own journey has been a wonderful way of meeting likeminded humans and understanding myself. embracing my kinks and being able to talk about them openly eventually helped me understand that _they_ were never directly the issue. some of the humans I met and who helped me feel the way I was needing to feel turned out to be some of the most fantastic human beings I met. some became friends, and sometimes even more. more than half of my wedding guests would be kinky peers if I got married today. same when I get buried. but many times along the way I too met guys and did things that put me in true danger. and _this_ is what we want to avoid. the fantasy is precious, but it should never come at the cost of putting you in true danger. and I would feel terrible only contributing to this fantasy without showing the vulnerable human side as well. we are humans. all of us on here. fragile human beings. your life is a gift. and we are incredibly lucky to have such true and honest vulnerable human beings in our community. but we must learn to protect ourselves and ourselves. I too started as a teen. and a teen needs adults to help them , to provide them with love, educational support, and a safe space to grow up. a teen is not responsible for the adults abusing them or simply the lack of adults protecting them. I hope this does not come out as infantilising . I just wanted to say you are loved , you are seen , and you are not alone. I'm so proud of you for speaking up. Take care of yourself, please. 💜
