Sometimes I forget that Parenting Facebook and Parenting Twitter are two very different arenas. The news that I had popcorn for dinner and my kid had a can of tuna is met with shock and judgement on Parenting Facebook.
Here I mostly get: "Yep. Same π"
I finally went to a protest today and the person that I went with offered to make sure I felt safe.
But when I no longer felt safe and had a full scale panic attack I was told that they wouldn't leave, they didn't even ask if I was okay.
@Doublee127@Imjustabetterm1 Of course! I'm on team "I believe women". I'd rather block someone and turn out to be wrong, than not block someone shitty.
I wish everyone would keep the fireworks to the 4th. I get it, you're excited to celebrate. But my Marine Corps vet of a husband, who did 2 tours in Iraq, has to hide in headphones with little sleep for a week before and after cause y'all have zero patience. Chill out.
And definitely don't be weirdly pushy over confirming how many kids I have. I'm just generally weirded out by this whole scenario. I blocked the person and deleted the messages.
Y'all, if you get weird in DM's I'm gonna block you. Yes, there are probably questions I missed asking the pediatrician about 1.5's development. But pushing me to ask you questions I may have missed so you can give me advice is super uncomfortable. Just stop.
