NEWS RELEASE: Memorial Cuts to Impact Students, Faculty, & the Community at Large

On Wednesday, the provincial government announced that the annual cuts to the Tuition Relief Grant would be paused for the 2025-26 year.

MUNSU, GCSU, MISU, and CFS-NL call on the Board of Regents to, in turn, pause the planned 4% increase in tuition fees this year.

Memorial University is back in the news today confirming the atrocious mismanagement of student funds by the leadership at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
