@regnmakt @DanielGrave6 Finally, we have the worm, a very special case. We have the outline sprite separated from the main one. Them, we use a sprite mask on the worms body to hide that outline, creating that shader-like effect that you mentioned!

@regnmakt @DanielGrave6 When we have a special animation with a character interacting with an object, we make sure that the outlines are right to create that illusion of they being in contact.

About the outlines, it's actually very straightforward. For most of the characters, the outline is included on the sprite.
