@abcnews LOL. That will prove a mistake as they get caught out by accelerated inflation due to war in Ukraine, Russian sanctions, US inflation and FRED responses, and floods in QLD and NSW impact on food and recovery costs.
A shame but it had to be done. The "our house, our rules" approach is correct way to go about this. Time to stop mucking about. Good job @brisbanelions ! Premiers 2022!
@davidsirota Article is 90% on point. Streep is more Trump but some Hillary too (blink&miss photo of affectionate Streep w/ Bill Clinton illustrates this). Film is 100% about vested interests de-railing what "common folk" quickly realise needs doing, with lies, distractions and obfuscations.
@davidsirota "..Rylance playing a half-Elon Musk, quarter-Joe Biden tech guru.." https://t.co/41aHmsvTwA
Whut. Wow. It's very clearly an amalgam of Cook/Gates. Someone at https://t.co/41aHmsvTwA is either very dim or has a bone w/ Musk/Biden..
@lisafleisher@azeem seemed to make this about social welfare in a chart of the week. At first glance, lots of high debt nations (e.g. here in Oz) are high debt because of overheated RE markets...got nothing to do with social welfare State-ness..
@abcnews "We've showered the states in money, whether it's in JobKeeper and economic support payments." So it wasn't for, ya know, the Australian people? The same ones he represents?
@tangararama @skyeakbar @Bezelboi@abcnews I did the same with some nuggets. They were disgusting. So no harm, other than I threw them out. We compost our food but I've no idea if what was in the nuggets was appropriate for compost...so straight to landfill. So there's that harm. Waste of $10?
@abcnews "it can feel very exclusionary" this article is written as if the "bros" are trying to make others feel excluded. That's like saying the classical finance world - which Mads (who is my fave present by the way) already understand - has deliberately tried to "exclude" every1 else.
@carterhelen780@Fnoze @gluepots @vanOnselenP Nope. Though you're basing your entire point on the times (and the electorate) not changing. Polls in 2013 showed it wasn't one then, but was in 2019 and more so in 2021.
@tanya_plibersek Damn right. We want stronger stds on energy efficiency 4 white goods, 50% EV all cars offered by 2025, subsidies for solar+battery & (after you win, heheh) a carbon pollution levy w/ dividend paid monthly only to households receiving welfare (and only them! so I'd be excluded!)
@benshapiro This sorta shit is so dumb. We literally would've have pop (which has it's basis in disco and R'n'B) if it weren't for people of colour... #SMH
@CalvinSoueid @abcnews Pump the breaks mate. I wasn't implying anything about you. That kind of reaction to a mis-interpretation is what (can) puts people off supporting a progressive agenda. I was talking only about my own personal, physical experiences with LGBTQ+ people.
@abcnews Greene apologists can try all they want, but plain as day he deliberately barged (lightly, but th@'s irrelevant) into ref., history of non-play aggression to others, had space to walk around, & the next player easily managed to avoid ref. Amazing talent but it must B 2 weeks QED

@Fnoze @gluepots @vanOnselenP Wrong. It was a winning strategy at the last election, until Shorten complicated it by going all in on negative gearing and franking credits. He would've won if he left those announcements until after the election.
