@11Yanks He nudges him rather that’s enough to bring him down is a different discussion. That’s up for VAR to decide if it’s a clear and obvious error. My point was that severity of the foul has no bearing on the red card as it’s not a consideration for DOGSO so if it’s a foul it’s a RC.
@EiFSoccer Bit dramatic. I mean he’s trying to kick the ball away in between Kone’s leg a misses and gets his right as he plants. It’s horrifically unlucky and seemed like a freak accident. It’s not like it was 2 footed bat out hell type of challenge.
@TheAthleticFC@Refsplaining Still an argument for stopping a promising attack. He’s behind the line of defenders and is about to play a cross into space between the penalty spot and goal area.
That might be the biggest VAR call ever at West Ham. IFAB really have to act quickly to stop all the pushing, shoving , blocking, wrestling from corners. It disfigures the game . There are 4/5 offences going on at most corners.
@BBCMOTD No one is arguing that it’s not a foul. We’re asking why this hasn’t been given for 2 yrs @PGMOL have ignored barging & grabbing goalkeepers and holding defenders by every team for the last 2 seasons. Why in a title & relegation deciding game have they decided to change course?
