Restore's policy in Makerfield seems to be that if they can't have 100% of what they want they would settle for 0%, when 85%+ is on offer. How are these the actions of a grown up party?
It sounds like Rupert Lowe and Restore will be happy if they prevent a Reform victory in Makerfield. Enabling Burnham and Labour doesn't matter as long as they stop Farage. There is something seriously wrong with them.
Do they really expect us to believe that a pair of Ukrainian part-time rent boys worked for Russia to damage Starmer's property? It seems as unlikely as Starmer telling the truth.
How has NHS fiddled waiting list numbers? Hospitals use "validation sprints" and financial incentives to aggressively clear lists. While some duplicate or no-longer-needed appointments are removed, trusts manipulate figures by quietly removing patients without treating them.
Here we have lightweight labour MP calling political opponents Nazis. Dim Mike believes that name calling will mean his catastrophic party to remain in power. Dim Mike has never been right on anything but will squat in his seat until consigned to the obscurity he deserves..
Have waiting lists come down at the fastest rate in 17 years as Starmer claims? Not a chance, the drop is due to trickery employed by the NHS, in particular dropping patients off lists and then reinstating them. In fact the NHS circulated a request that all Trusts do this.
It's Restore who will win it ... for Andy Burnham, who will be the most left wing PM in decades. Well done guys, sticking carefully to the mantra of the enemy of my enemy is my friend will condemn us all to higher taxes and higher spending.
Vets say they want to see an end to year-round preventative flea treatments and a ban on the sale of spot-ons containing these chemicals by anyone other than vets. Anyone know why the money grubbing bastards would want this?
Person who is partly responsible for the violence, the aptly rhymed Two-Tier Keir, condemns it. Same as ever with this useless and divisive PM, with no attempt to address the causes.
The scenes in Belfast last night were shocking and completely unacceptable.
There is no justification for the violence and disorder that we saw threatening our communities, nor for those who encouraged it, online or elsewhere.
It is clear that people were targeted last night because of their background and I will not tolerate it. Those responsible will feel the full force of the law.
I’ve spoken to the Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland to convey my thanks to them and the frontline emergency services for their bravery in keeping people safe. I’ve also spoken to the First Minister and Deputy First Minister to discuss the ongoing situation.
Appealing for calm must be the priority, and that is what I urge now. We must let the police get on with their work.
Somalian asylum seeker behind the Belfast attack arrived in February 2023, immediately claimed asylum and was given leave to remain only 7 months later. An indictment of our perverse migration system, overseen by successive treacherous governments. Shame on the Tories and Labour.
As an apparently Somalian man commits a heinous knife attack in Belfast it is crystal clear that open borders Labour will never protect us from these savages.
In an interview on Tuesday’s Newsnight about the murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, we mistakenly quoted the Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage, as saying people should respond to his death with a “white, cold rage”. To be clear, Mr Farage actually said “pure, cold rage”, as had been stated earlier in the programme, and we apologise to him for this error.
It is clear to everyone but @Keir_Starmer that we are living under two-tier policing in Britain.
The anger millions of us feel comes from losing trust in our justice system to treat everyone equally under the law.
A Reform government would end two-tier policing.
Henry Nowak’s family have lost their son and brother in the most appalling circumstances.
Nigel Farage is exploiting this tragedy to create grievance and division.
It’s completely unforgivable.
