Bees are important pollinators and are vital to many food crops, but their numbers are in decline.

Here are some easy ways you can help:
🌼 Plant a native pollinator garden.
🍃 Plant hedgerows.
🏠 Put out a bee house for solitary bees.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!🐍

Our first Gray Ratsnake sighting of the year is Zygarde!

It is especially exciting to find Zygarde as he was first seen at the park in 2015. Since 2015, Zygarde has grown 56 centimeters.

Shiny and sparkly these colours catch the light and remind us that while all that glitters is not gold, that doesn't mean there isn't joy to be found.

Prepare for purple! Murphys is nearing the end of the rainbow!

Purple is regal and vibrant. Purple reminds us of the many wildflowers that call Ontario home, the playful movements of damselflies and that sometimes magic can be hidden (like on the underside of a mushroom).

Welcome to the next stop on our colour tour of Murphys, beautiful brown!

Brown is rich and soft. Brown floods our senses with the taste of hot chocolate, the smell of the earth in spring, and the sight of a beaver building a dam.

Pink is positive and vivacious. Pink reminds us of evenings spent watching the sun set, strawberry ice cream from the park store and colourful wildflowers spotted in field and forest.
