The more I learn about networking, the more I realize that building a network and securing a network are two sides of the same job.
A network can be fast and reliable, but if it's not properly secured, it can still become a major vulnerability.

I'm learning to think beyond:

"Can this device connect?"
and start asking:
"Is this connection secure, and can I trust it?"
That's a mindset I want to carry throughout my career.

Because a network that works is good.

One lesson SIWES keeps teaching me is that when a network stops working, the problem isn't always complicated.
Sometimes, it's something as simple as a loose cable, wrong IP address, disabled interface, or incorrect network configuration.
