@Daffodils1231 @Indian1836217 That primitive proto Dravidian didn’t just give birth to Tamil but also to Kannada, Telugu etc. Hale Kannada influenced Tamil that’s quite proven. There are grammatical constructs in Proto Dravidian which is absent in Tamil but prevalent in Kannada - do the study.

@Daffodils1231 @Indian1836217 That’s why Kannada is the mother of Tamil - because Kannada had both oral and linguistic influence on Tamil way back in the Sangam period…All of those words are Kannada original as Tamil doesn’t have vowel ending sounded words.

@Daffodils1231 @Indian1836217 …Humans didn’t start with a sophisticated language like Kannada/Tamil. Tribes spoke a common, basic, incomplete form of a “language” that evolved into different sophisticated ones over a period, independently yet with mutual influence like Tamil and Kannada.

Moreover, it’s linguistically proven that Kannada has had a major influence on Tamil even during Sangam period- Kannada had a much richer oral tradition well before 3k years ago. Go research, stop falsehood.
