Don’t Know why Ronaldo fans would care. Ronaldo was dropping hattricks in the premier league at 37….
Scored two on his debut back to United. Props to Messi for the amazing Free kick but it’s against Cruz Azul. 😶
Bet on the people already doing the work. It's hard for some people to bet on themselves because they know they're not doing the work. It's hard to believe it still. The easier you make it to believe in you, the better the opportunities get. WORK on your craft. Study, but WORK 🫂
🗣️ Giorgio Chiellini:
"How to defend against Ronaldo? Don't give him space. How to defend against Messi? Just pray."
Ronaldo vs Chiellini: 9 goals
Messi vs Chiellini: 0 goals
Adebayor before Ronaldo won the premier league golden boot in 2008:
"At the moment I am having a good race with Ronaldo. I am a striker and cannot let myself be dominated by one midfielder."
12years old fans are still gonna tell you how Ronaldo has never been a midfielder🤭
José Mourinho and Harry Kane, in 2019:
Kane: "At a club like Tottenham, personally I have done well."
Mourinho: "But it's not enough."
Kane: "I want to be like Ronaldo, Messi..."
Mourinho: "Yes!"
If Diddy ever claimed that he owns Cîroc and it's not true... then that just takes black business backwards.
The reality is that building a manufacturing business, even in beverages, is no fucking walk in the park. The cost of factories, warehouses, machinery, trucks, etc... is a lot & most ppl need at least 2/3 generations of insane hard work to build these.
Then there's distribution, which is normally gatekept by wealthy White & Asian business ppl... and they don't just let anyone in. And when they do, they take a serious cut.
Then marketing costs an arm & a leg. And you're competing every single year. Some of the biggest brands have used many underhanded tactics historically in order to dominate market-share.
So many times, the black community is made to celebrate supposed black entrepreneurs, who are nothing more than fronts for non-black-owned products.
Before, it was enough to be an ambassador for a brand. Ppl would happily buy, even though it's not yours. Today, black influencers pretend to own businesses when in actual fact they don't. They either get paid a standard fee to front, or earn commission from sales.
The biggest issue is that it misleads black kids & makes them believe in fake stories. To build a manufacturing business takes a lot of hard work, generations, a lot of capital, sometimes government assistance, often luck, at times bending the rules... so you can be a worthy player.
When a black person owns a huge brand, within a few years, always know there are red flags there. Study Aliko Dangote & the Dantata family.
Study Mo Dewji. You don't build serious brands in 3 to 5 years... never. It's sad... but this is capitalism. The sooner you learn, the sooner you can figure out the true cost of business...
...& the sooner you can get to work, or retire early & be a content employee or small business owner.
To black ambassadors fronting for brands... please stop. It does more harm than good. There's nothing wrong with being a known ambassador or influencer... like Joe Mafela for Chicken Licken, or The Dubes for Clientele. You still get paid & you don't mislead ppl who worship you.
Now with Diddy's story we have to question Russell Simmons, Tyler Perry, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Rihanna, & all these other so-called black brand-owners. Hay' man!
Okay, I'll stop there. Happy hustling ✌🏾
Official, confirmed. James Maddison has joined Tottenham on five year contract ⚪️✨ #THFC
Deal completed with Leicester on £40m fee. Second signing after Vicario.
When building a brand or a business, you really need to think long term & consider sustainability & credibility when it comes to the brand’s identity & ethos. A lot of brands & businesses are compromising in order to make short term gains & it ends up killing them long term
