Figure just signed a $3.5 billion GPU deal with Nscale today. Here's what you need to know.

Figure, the humanoid robot startup led by CEO Brett Adcock, is partnering with cloud provider Nscale to deploy up to 100,000 NVIDIA GPUs on NVIDIA's next-gen Vera Rubin platform. Nscale becomes Figure's preferred compute partner and will also take an equity stake in Figure.

The compute will train Figure's Helix AI models, which power its humanoid robots. Adcock says bringing a robot into every home demands compute at an unprecedented scale, and the initial commitment could grow well beyond the starting figure.
