Explore the wonderful world of pillars in our new interpretation! Most of the 3,173 pillars discovered underground in Combe Down could be attributed a type within the classification system developed by archaeologists. Discover these and anomalies - such as this H-shaped pillar!

These samples, from the Bahamas, show oolitic limestone in the early stages of formation.

The Bahamas are a modern day equivalent to Jurassic Combe Down.
