Remember when I spent way too much time during my @MuseumBuddy collab with @ShibdenHall wondering #WasAnneListeraSwordLesbian ? Well, now I went and did a whole video about it as well!🎩⚔️🎩
Warning: Contains swords, fashion, and yearning

A big thank you to @woolly_wilson and @MuseumofOxford for taking part in #MuseumBuddy last week! We loved seeing this new international connection form! Look out for future buddies and if you want to get involved, pop us an email [email protected]! #MuseumBuddy

I loved learning from my @MuseumBuddy @MuseumofOxford this week and I look forward to having a new friend across the ocean! Next time you all see some sheep, think of me!
(Here is a photo Dr. Grayson took of sheep, he just labeled it "England") #collection#MuseumsTogether
Wilson enjoyed an occasional evening beverage, and was a huge fan of #wine! He collected bottles from all over the world, and stored them in a large cellar at the #WhiteHouse. He also collected Champagne and I am sure enjoyed some while in Paris for the Peace Conference.
It's Friday and that calls for a celebration! Hey @MuseumBuddy @MuseumofOxford, did you know that even though the #prohibition amendment was signed during Wilson's Presidency, Wilson did not approve of it? In fact, Wilson vetoed the bill, and Congress overrode him! #FunFactFriday
Now, we have a group of volunteers who help keep it running! I could go on all day about this cool car, but if you all want learn more, check out our special #SheepontheLoose episode for some #behindthescenes info! https://t.co/1dCo2FIkvv #museumbuddy
It was waiting for Wilson at the train station when he returned back from Paris in 1919, and he began to ride in it every day! After his stroke, the Pierce Arrow rides acted as some mental and physical therapy for him. #museumbuddy#presidentialcars#coolcars#piercearrow
I just learned so much about the cars of #Oxford thanks to my @MuseumBuddy @MuseumofOxford! We have a cool car too, the 1919 Pierce Arrow Presidential limousine! It still runs and is one of the few left in the country. Wilson loved this car after it joined the White House fleet!
Hey @MuseumofOxford, did you know Woodrow Wilson enjoyed attending shows at local theaters near the White House every Saturday? The media loved to know what shows the president was seeing! What were theaters in #Oxford like? @MuseumBuddy#Theater#presidentialhistory#LOC
Wilson could not ignore these #suffragists, especially when his own daughters approved! The #silentsentinels protested silently in front of the White House, led by women like Alice Paul, would lead the push for the #19thAmendment, approved in 1920. #HistoryofHerstory
Women held a parade in the streets when Wilson arrived before his first Inauguration in 1913, and hardly anyone greeted him because they were all watching the Women's March! #Suffrage#MuseumBuddy @MuseumofOxford
Our #MuseumBuddy @MuseumofOxford posted about some great suffrage history this morning, so I thought I would share! When we study #Suffrage and Woodrow Wilson, it admittedly gets a little gray as Wilson went around the subject for many years as president.
Good morning all! Please put your hands together for the newest #MuseumBuddy partnership @woolly_wilson
from Virginia, USA and @MuseumofOxford from Oxford, UK. 👏👏👏
Let the buddy-up begin!
Starting tomorrow, we get a @MuseumBuddy for the week! We are sharing our time with the @MuseumofOxford and get to spend time connecting with their museum's mission and programs. I am excited for this, as Woodrow Wilson love to visit the town of #Oxford! #museumstogether
