Today in #BrandedHistory is the 6th April 1896: the opening of the first modern Olympic games, held in Athens, 1,500 years after they'd been banned by Roman Emperor Theodosius I. 116 years later, London hosted the 2012 #Olympics, and British brands responded enthusiastically:
