Join the artEquity community as we share strategies for interfacing with white leadership; what to do when sh*t goes down; how to navigate white women and their tears; how to cultivate BIPOC solidarity; and how to know when it’s time to go. - https://t.co/y95oGNm0uv
My name is Ayo and I am a 22 yr old engineering student. This summer I launched the FIRST #blackowned premium bendable hanger startup. I created this hanger to solve frustrating shoulder bumps. I would love your support with a purchase at https://t.co/uDetwSkx74 or retweet!
@Museumptnrs I can relate too. Especially in relation to social media, where I'm connected to many friends that have been laid-off or furloughed, I've been thinking about this.
I am always amazed that we bind ourselves to institutions that do not serve us, do not represent our best interests, and sometimes even actively harm us.
Slow down and breathe.
Are you helping, harming, or actively stepping on someone's head to get to your next "win"?

One-third of museum directors recently surveyed said there was a "significant risk" of permanently closing—or that they don't know if their institutions will survive.
Respondents ranged from history and art museums to botanical gardens to science centers.

A thing I often think is missing from the uni discourse is that young people who aren't from a pretty wealthy (/academic/high cultural capital) background actually have no idea what jobs there are except the quite obvious ones
See a new blog post for more details on what to expect at our our Wednesday listening session:
"How do we care for each other?
What are our assets in this space?
What do we need to build?"
See you there 7/22 4:30 PT/7:30 ET!

Like and RT if you agree that #Confederate symbols don't belong in a country based on the principles of equality and justice. They must be removed from our public spaces! #WhoseHeritage https://t.co/Obu083miv4

The next #antiracism webinar I'm organizing with @thebloggerunion will be Thursday! Melba Pearson will be joining us and @LuisaSantos2020 is co-moderating. These webinars are FREE and designed for the casual social media user to influencer to benefit from. See you there!
The #MuseumWorkersFund would need to raise over $200,000 to account for each applicant to date. 200 THOUSANDS.
Museums are wreaking havoc, but we're not powerless. Help us get to our next milestone so we can release more funds, and help even more of us! 💪
👏👏👏
Museum workers have been showing up for each other for a long time. Now it's time for funders to demonstrate their support as well. Are you with us?
