He went after kids first.

During the Cultural Revolution, Mao Zedong convinced students that the movement mattered more than their families, more than teachers, more than religion, more than the country itself.

Those kids became the Red Guards, and once that door was opened, everything fell apart.

Children turned on their own parents.
Schools stopped being places of learning and turned into places of enforcement.
People ruined each other’s lives while telling themselves they were doing the right thing.

What should make parents angry is how close this feels to what is happening now.

Schools are letting openly political teachers, some tied to Chinese-backed NGOs like Party for Socialism and Liberation and Code Pink, push ideology onto kids and call it “doing the right thing.”

These are classrooms parents send their children to every day trusting that school is about reading, math, and history, not political grooming.

Most students in the United States are not even proficient readers.

And now we have teachers that are pushing communist propaganda onto our students?!!

Kids are being taught to see their parents as part of the problem.

Police are framed as enemies.

Churches are treated like something dangerous.

The country is talked about like it is irredeemably evil.

Then the kids get praised for repeating it.

They are told they are brave and informed for saying things they barely understand, much less came to on their own.

Schools still require parents to sign permission slips for their child to watch a PG movie, yet they’re allowed to radicalize our children without us knowing?

That should make parents furious.

Every single parent should be contacting their county’s superintendent and school board.

Schools are not supposed to turn children against their families.

They are not supposed to act as recruitment centers for political movements.

When adults want to push ideology, they should argue with other adults, not slip it into classrooms and aim it at kids who do not have the experience or context to push back.

You go after children because adults have memory and perspective and resistance.

Kids do not.

Mao called it revolution.

Today they call it education.
