My absolute favourite discovery this week is that Boulez inspired the song ‘You can call me Al’ by repeatedly getting Paul Simon and his wife’s name wrong at a party.

I’ve just come across a promotional CD from Boosey and Hawkes, 2017: Contemporary Choral series. 73 tracks, with 1 (one) by a woman! To be fair, there were only 29 composers represented….
