As we say farewell to another Ramadan let us remind ourselves of our duty to the less fortunate. in islam, we are required to donate enough money to feed a person (~$10-$15) for everyone in your household, before the month is over.

Ramadan is about to begin again; where Muslims have a duty to fast for 30 days. If they cannot fast for whatever reason, they can try to make it up throughout the year or feed the poor.

Thank you, Macklemore, for continuing to speak up. It means a lot to me as a genocide survivor and to all Palestinians. However, some of the organisations highlighted in your poster won't be able to deliver aid to Gazans.

It won't help. Some of them have been protested by Gazans, such as PCRF, Anera, and others. UNRWA has also reduced the salaries of its employees in the territory.

This money should go directly to the people who need it most, not through organisations whose aid will be stuck at the border and won't make any difference. Thanks again.

I don’t know how words could ever explain what your support means to us. You are not just sending us money; you are sending us a little bit of safety in a life where almost nothing feels safe anymore. You are giving us a reason to keep holding on when we feel like we have no strength left. ❤️
Because of your support, we can buy food for our children and siblings, try to pay the rent, and repay some of the debts that have become such a heavy burden on us. These things may seem simple to someone living a stable life, but for us, they mean being able to sleep knowing that our children will have something to eat the next day.
Sometimes I sit alone and think: how can people who are so far away from us care about our family and carry our worries in their hearts like this? I can only think that true humanity knows no borders, and that we do not have to come from the same place or speak the same language to feel each other’s pain. ❤️
I swear, my brothers and sisters, there are days when I feel ashamed to ask for help. But when I remember that my children are waiting for food and that my family needs a roof over their heads, I find myself having no choice but to ask. And every time you reach out your hand to us, you make this burden a little lighter on our hearts.
From the deepest part of my heart, and from my wife, my children, my parents, and my siblings, I send you our love, respect, and prayers. ❤️🙏
We may never be able to repay you for what you have done for us, but we will carry your names and your kindness in our hearts for as long as we live.
If one day these difficult times come to an end, I will tell my children that there were kind people who knew us only through our words, yet still stood beside us when we needed them most.
